Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden (SAKG)

Year 3/4 students are thoroughly engaged in the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program. They experience preparing a wide range of meals using fresh and nutritious food. Gardening activities include planting seedlings, composting, seed planting sustainability, organic herbicide & garden design.

Kids in the Kitchen

In Year 2 students take part in Kids in the Kitchen once a week. They work in pairs to make a large variety of foods ranging from savory scones to cakes. Parent participation is an important and highly valued component of this successful program.

P.M.P- Perceptual Motor Program

Prep students take part in a PMP session once a week. The program is designed to refine and improve both gross and fine motor skills.

House Groups

At Mortlake P-12 College we have a three house structure; Inspire, Succeed & Endeavour. In the P-4 subschool every Tuesday morning for 20 mins we participate in fitness activities in our house groups. The activities are chosen and organised by our P-4 House Leaders
