Josh discussed making wiser choices, things like not distracting the driver, to ensure your personal safety. He encouraged people to not take things for granted and that you are capable of doing anything with the right attitude and incredibly hard work. What you achieve in life is up to you, own your mistakes and celebrate your achievements.
Josh was very passionate about his sport and pointed out that had he not had the accident he would not have been able to win a gold medal at the Paralympics. He is competing in an upcoming competition in Hamilton (see flyer below) and is awaiting the announcement of the Australian team for the upcoming Paralympics. Hopefully we get to see him in it.
